Hello all, Modern Classics is opening its doors to more Your Drives submissions. It's a chance to show off your cars to the Modern Classics audience – a few members have already done this. We're looking for cars from 1980 to 2010, and if you've got anything suitable (not just Maseratis) we'd be happy to put your car in. All it requires is a few pictures of the car, a headshot of yourself and the answers to some questions. If you're interested, drop us a line to editorial@modernclassicsmagazine.co.uk :)

Not so sure my photography and my ugly dial would be up to muster.

I’ve got a really non-standard Maser spyder if you are interested. Depending on the time scale, I’m hoping to have a really non-standard Jensen Healey (Maybe a bit early) or a very standard Audi UR Quattro by the middle of next year.

Chaps - most things 80s/90s/00s will be considered, it’s only those more classic, er, classics that won’t. Classic Minis, MGBs, Triumphs, W123s and R107s are lovely things but a bit too classic. Mind you W124s, 928s, E24s and other things forward-looking are in. We kind of stop at around 2010 but we’ve be known to stray a little...

Oh, and there’s a seven-page feature on Biturbos in the next issue.

1980 - 2010..... hmmmmm. That knocks out the Strad, the Evora 400, the Elan +2S 130/4, the JPS Esprit and i’ve just sold my showroom condition Williams #133, but I could provide a 205 1.9GTI, R5 GT Turbo, Clio Trophy, S1 Elise, Impreza 22b, Impreza V3 Sti V Ltd and Forester Sti

Surprised you haven't got a set of Trade plates Dean.
Had mine for years and felt sad handing them in when leaving.
Even took them on the forum track day with my red M3 ;)

Except for the 22b, I can use them any time, all taxed and MOT’d.. the 22b is having some fettling done given how the prices have rocketed.

Except for the Strad and Evora, they all have terminal cut-off switches so I don’t have to muck around with battery conditioners on them....

I have got a set of trade plates but you aren't supposed to use the car outside of to/from service, MOT, collection/delivery or either related trade journey's.

It is just handy when required for 165 per year. I just tax cars monthly on DD as and when they get used.
