Favourite driving shoes

Do you have a favourite pair of shoes for driving your favourite Maserati? What makes them your favourite?
Here are mine. A pair of worn out leather slip ons. Supremely comfortable - as good as my slippers - and with supple soles (worn through rubber over leather) that are an important part of their comfort and so good for feeling the nicely sensitive Maserati pedals.

I do like Piloti driving shoes, I've worn out 3 pairs and currently have another 2 pairs on the go.
They just happen to be a very good fit on my narrow skinny feet, very comfortable and top quality.
They are initially quite stiff on the sole, but soon soften up.
To be honest driving shoes aren't really necessary on a two pedal car like the Maser, nor the daily three pedal BMW.
I got "into them" when I had my Lotus Elise, when they really were a benefit. In fact I bought a proper pair of sparco racing boots for track days.

Iv got a couple of pairs of different ones, but 2 pairs are Puma ones that were given to us as Travel shoes for racing, but are excellent for driving. I struggle with my Achilles with spongy heeled shoes so have to be abit careful.

Puma speedcats. I have a pair of the Sparco and the OGs tucked away. Stay away from the garish reds and blues, the black with white stripe do the job.
Onitsuka tiger Mexico 66 are meant to be good also but I’ve not tried them as yet.

Being as I pretty much live in trainers. Nike Air Max 95's in whatever colour I've bought at that time.

I think I currently own about 12 pairs. And have probably owned in excess of 30 in my life.

I might order a red pair for summer @philw696 ;)

Bought these at Goodwood Revival. French but made in Italy. Leather lined.
