i'm a bit suspicious with the lack of proper photos and minor description, could be genuine find and would be worth well over 100k when restored and with all the proper history/paperwork, or could be a scammer, I see the ebayer has only joined ebay December 2018??
Indeed, you have to be so careful with this sort of thing. If it was fully authenticated with correct (and rare) parts, I'd expect the base car to be much more expensive.

I'd want it checked out by experts like Omicron before contemplating it.

As a kid went in many genuine ones as my Father was tied up with the Jolly Club of Milan and Rallying in the UK with them.
Many a school run in a proper WRC car in the day.

Seen a few discussions on this resto project, the info doesn't align to the potential value. A works 1.3HF would be a nice find if genuine, but why would they make 1.4 engine version as this would put it the bigger class up against 1.6 versions.

latest is he's been offered 45k and wants 65k and wont let me view it before auction end, that put me right off and very suspicious indeed

45K for a resto project? Sounds a lot given it will need a similar amount to restore - 65k sounds bonkers. I have asked my Fulvia specialist for an opinion but there are enough questions to cast doubts

historical ex works cars of this type if genuine as listed would be worth a sh1t load of money and would be worth 40/45k even in that condition, but only as long as it had all the correct provenance, clearly this car is not what it seems and the seller comes across as rather evasive when questioned and why the heck put it on ebay of all places, should be in an auction house (coys/ bonhams) if it were genuine

Agree with all of that.

The shell on this looks seriously damaged and restoration would be a massive task. The easy option would be to reshell it but that would further reduce the provenance of an original works car - it would end up a bit like Triggers broom

It did reach a tad over 8k on ebay and no reserve set so technically sold, either shill bidding or buyer fobbed off, very fishy, conveniently taken cr4p photos and won't disclose any further info, its listed as item in "London" but looking at photos I bet it's still abroad somewhere

No photos of the left side at all, given the roof line it looks like it has bananad around a tree!

Awful listing and the Lancia community cannot find the chassis number listed as a factory works at all, best guess is a privateer build, big question is where is the roll cage???

Its certainly a mystery this one.
Back in the 60'S cars didn't have the safety gear of today and many only a half rear cage if that.
When I started Rallying in the late 80'S you could use a motorcycle helmet which I had and no fireproof overalls just long sleeves.
Best times of my life.

Even if it is genuine at £45k plus the work needed to restore someone needs to be very brave and have deep pockets. As above the seller is being very cagey which just raises more questions
