Fanalone, very nice and is that a Milano plate, was your farther part of the racing team then
My father and his business in the West Midlands were the UK part of the Jolly Club Milan.
As a youngster did many trips with my father collecting Fulvias from Italy it was certainly a good time.
Seeing the cars in the workshops and going on events especially the RAC Rally when it was a proper event was a real experience.
It made me follow the Motor trade and also got me into Rallying myself.

Certainly have.
My twin brother has most of fathers memories over in KL where my father was living his later years.
I will get him to sort some more pictures.
There are some good ones from the 64 Earls Court Motor show when he was selling Iso Rivolta.
I worked at the 2004 Motor show but it didn't have the same glamour.
Certainly had a good childhood involving Cars :)

Was your Dad in a motor club in the Midlands?

He might have know mine, he was in Quinton Motor club, rallied Minis and Escorts and later went on to be Clerk of the Course for the Sutton Park stages of the RAC.

We lived in Sedgley between Dudley and Wolverhampton until 77.
He was overseas for the rest of his days after that.

We lived in Halesowen, my Dad worked at Hunt Brother’s Foundry in Oldbury in the 70s so not far from you. He stopped rallying in 77 when I was born.

All Fulvia alloy panels are rare, they were only available on the early S1 cars and S1 HF models primarily to compensate for low power but by the time the S2 came along engine power had risen and cost cutting started to become apparent. Perfect alloy doors can be over £2k each, same for bonnets and boot lids are about £1500. Fulvia owners are always looking for these panels, my S2 has alloy bonnet and boot but not doors.

If the doors were included in that price they would be a bargain, I would happily pay that and then throw the rest in the scrapyard on the way home.
