They were a sweet little drive in there day , make excellent rally cars aswell , one of our members (4200 giallo owner Daivdhowson) has or had a minter all dressed and ready for rallying , there's some picks of it somewhere

Great cars, had a couple of s3's and two sedans.....beautifully over engineered

I think so, if you compare the engineering on a Fulvia with that of a similar period Alfa the difference shows in quality. The later Betas and even the the 2000 show all the signs of corporate cost cutting.

Was maybe thinking of direct Lancia family ownership...rather than Pesenti who bought them out in the 50s

Yup....2000 parts to make an Alfa of the 50s.......4000....to make a Lancia!!!

Days of using the reclaimed Russian steel ................... Fiat group along with Nissan and a few others went this route and didn't we all suffer for it , especially in North eurpope and wet damp weather
