Funnily enough most people I talk to about Gammas say exactly the same
I had my decent dark blue one, a scabby red one was dumped in a back street near me so I just took it, stripped it and stored the parts. Those were the days!

The Italian father of a mate had one of these in the early 80s. Felt very special to be driven around in it. I remember it was a light metallic blue and looked like nothing else on the road.

For me it was a cut-down budget Ferrari 400, both Pininfarina the Gamma Coupe no doubt inspired by the Ferrari. Have you seen the Gamma Saloon? My God that's one ugly car.....

I've owned a number of Lancias over the years but yet to find a decent Gamma .... I will one day.

Also not too dis-similar to the 130 coupe. When we first moved into our village (16 years ago) there were approximately 40 properties and there were 4 Lancias. My Montecarlo, Evo Integrale, Delta turbo and a Gamma. Never got to meet the chap before he popped his cloggs as he was a real recluse.

I’ve got a very fancy original sales brochure for one of those in the loft somewhere.

Another of those strange itches I have to scratch. I did have a 130 Saloon in the mid 80s, bought is from an MOT station for £50 when my Escort failed and needed a weeks work. Great barge with a lovely sound but sold it when the exhaust failed and it was £300 to replace, sold it for £150 to a guy who just wanted the engine. Those were the days

This 130 Coupe at the recent ACA was lovely. Orange velour too. I’d want a manual but what a lovely thing...

I bought my good Gamma Coupe with a broken headlight which cost £295 in about 1990
