In the M140i.
Stationary at traffic lights on a roundabout and a Renault Clio didn't stop behind me. Got pushed into a Jeep in front.
Only gently nudged the Jeep with just a scratch to mine, Jeep driver not claiming anything.
My rear however well mushed, including tailgate but still opens.
Caught it all on dashcam, and when I got home the third party insurance company already admitting liability.
I'm with BMW's own insurance so going back to them for repair, just don't know what the damage is under the rear bumper, smashed and the ends popped out, still drives.
Well ****** off!

Last time I was involved in any car accident was 29 years ago when a car pulled out in front of me and I tee boned them in my Lancia Y10!
Although a no fault claim, will I get screwed at renewal?

Bad news Mike,
Insurance @#£&s me off, it’s a total **** take.
Why should you be out of pocket for getting crashed into...
At least you are safe n sound at the end of the day...

Good job it was low speed and no injuries.
If ever there was doubt, the dashcam is a slam dunk. We have dashcam in all our family cars and for my Jag XJ and the GTS I have hard wired front and rear with parking protection.

Hope you get sorted quickly and with no fuss

I don't think she did any braking as no screaching tyre noises before impact so was probably doing 20 to 30mph. Fast enough I can assure you when I was stationary!

Yes, you will be screwed. Its about making a claim, not establishing blame. This insurance stuff is a scam. The whole lot of them need government scrutiny and regulation. Last week, I was rear ended when driving the wife's Nissan Micra by some ***** when I was stationary at a roundabout. The car has been written off as deemed uneconomical to repair and they gave my wife a packet of Cadbury's Buttons as CAP Retail Value of her car. Insurance scam! I hate the lot of them.

Anyone remember the old Renault 25 advert? Some smooth tw@t and a fit bird? It was a talking car remember, my boss had one back in the day and I drove it a few times. Fecking 'Handrake on' - 'Handbrake off' every time at the lights - soon got wearing.

That V6 I think powered many a Countach kit car back then...

Here we are! The posh bird is actually annoying, and so is the bloke. And the car, fugly.com

She just needs a good rogering by a double-hard Northern Bolton Baastard like me, then I'd cast her aside like all the other lasses I've nailed from the chippies on Halliwell Road.

That’s unfortunate -If it’s any consolation I tried to rear end my Mrs this morning and got bumped too.
Seems wrong if you suffer in the insurance tho!

Insurance companies have this knock for knock idea. A sort of old boys way of stuffing us - the public. If you register the claim and she does then each pays it's own costs with some sort of internal balancing scam.
There is a way to avoid this. Sue the other driver privately for repair and costs using a solicitor. It's a little more complicated but I've done this before to avoid any penalty. You have to be 100% sure it was the other parties fault!
However it depends on how your insurance company word their renewal. You have been involved in an accident whether you claim or not.
I got penalised because some low life 'keyed' the wing whilst out shopping......
