I watched a bit of that and indeed it seemed mostly things you see and deal with every day without drama by reading other car body language and situations. My passengers get so much road rage over what I just regard as normal.

What annoys me is when oncoming cars think it's OK to give parked cars a wide berth but at the risk of hitting me! Where's the logic in that.?

I'm really really ****** off.
My car has been picked up this morning by BMW for repair but the TP insurance company has failed to arrange a hire car. When chased this morning I'd been missed... then the amount of paperwork they require is unbelievable, and, I was supposed to be doing them a favour instead of my insurance company back charging to them. What a mistake, won't make that one again, when they ring back I'm going to tell them not to bother and that I don't want their car anymore, I'm sure the slightest thing wrong on return, I'll just get charged heavily.
More of a concern is the TP insurance company is Markerstudy. Thought they sounded familiar and looking at my Maserati insurance, through AiB sponsors of this forum, the insurance is through Markerstudy. They have a terrible feedback rating and my experience so far has been shocking.
Then I have a suspect scam company claiming to be part of the Association of British Insurers, how they got my details I don't know, ringing me up.
Not very happy at this point in time!

Don't need any legal advise, just that the TP insurance Markerstudy are simply ****!
Fortunately I wouldn't let them repair the car, and that is under my BMW insurance at their own bodyshop.
The Maser insurance as I said is through forum sponsors AiB. It is due for renewal next month if they are still using Markerstudy I will think twice about using them if they are competitive.

I wouldn't touch AIB or Adrian Flux with s proverbial barge pole.

Had the call from the body shop, no chassis damage so new bumper, crash structure and tailgate, plus paint of course.
Amazing really not sure if it was the Maser it would be same result!

That’s good news I guess - and all at the Bodyshop of your choice.

Did you get the hire car yet?

They couldn't deliver a car yesterday and I've been down to Milton Keynes and back, so couldn't accept a car today , so I said I'd ring them if I needed one, and not to ring me... while in meetings today they have tried to ring me twice...
So today I have used my 19 year old Pinin, as it is insured for business usage, and done 290 miles in it. Normally don't do that in a month usually used for just local stuff running around.
It's been brilliant, cruised no effort down and back up the M1, comfortable, high upright driving position, loads of glass with excellent visibility, air con, auto and returned 35 mpg. I don't think that's bad doing 70+, shaped like a brick, petrol, and AT tyres fitted!
I wish there was something like it new, shame Mitsubishi didn't keep making it. The new Suzuki Jimny, like the old one, in comparison to the Pinin is just too narrow, agricultural, and slow. The Pinin for its size, especially mine being the SWB, actually shifts along quiet nicely with Mitsubishi fitting the 1.8 16 valve twin cam engine and fancy super select 4wd system too in my particular model.

AiB have quoted me renewal of the Maser policy.
Gave them a ring on receipt and no increase with the No fault accident. They use Markerstudy though...

If you're having a bad experience on a non fault claim I wonder how a fault claim would go.

A specialist is unlikely to let a non fault claim influence your renewal. But on the other hand, volume comparison site providers.......

Probably a case of the devil you know...?
I too am with Markerstudy. And that includes all my bikes and one at an agreed value. They have been keen to snag my business for the T5 too, the only thing I have that isnt with them. I would probably have tried moving away but the agreed value hoops are involved and time consuming, and this is the sticking point.
Your posts arent filling me with confidence. Ive used Markerstudy for years but never made a claim. Despite this, my premiums are above average. Whomever you use as a broker, they all seem to come back with Markerstudy as the underwriter. Any business that commands a monopoly on the market is counterproductive to value and service. Competition is squeezed into non existence. As noted. We make our beds in this country when we demand cheapest everything and fastest delivery. No eye to the consequences. Balls to the wall, pound signs...that's the way we roll in the UK...! o_O

Being driving around in a delivery mileage 5 series MSport while mine was having a new bottom.
Rather nice, all the toys, relaxing 8 speed auto etc, was actually thinking, I could get used to this! Then received the call from BMW that mine was ready for delivery back to me. Before they drop it off tomorrow I said I would call into their body shop to inspect first, no problem sir.
So this aft called in, walking through the body shop there it was. Wow, the estoril blue was, I hate to use the word, popping, with that slightly dumpy 3 door body shell, twin pipes, sticky michelin tyres filling the rear arches driven by a crazy big 6 pot turbo and a manual stick pokeing out of the transmission tunnel, all thoughts of a saloon replacement vaporised away in an instant....what was I thinking of!
Can't wait to get her back in the morning.

Hire car collected this afternoon.
When dropped off it was brand new only 213 miles on the clock, but it was dusty having been in storage and delivered on the back of a car transporter.
Washed it before collection (as requested) and two guys went over it with a magnifying glass. I'd only done 250 miles in it, and they noticed a mark on the rear wing. It wasn't even a scratch, you know what metallic black is like for showing up any imperfections, it was a faint 'white' line an inch long in the clear coat.
They wanted to put it down on the return form, I said how could I spot such a minor imperfection when it was dusty at delivery, and I would get a cloth and polish and remove the imperfection there and then!
They quickly backed down and signed it off with no damage, glad I hadn't picked up a single little stone chip on the front bumper!
These insurance companies want to provide a nice car, but absolutely any excuse to claim back from you the hire cost through 'damage' when it is really 'wear and tear' actually being driven.
To be honest I was tempted not to drive it at all for fear of any 'damage'.
The whole experience has been disappointing regarding the TP insurance company, the only positive is that my insurance through BMW and their own bodyshop has been excellent with their service and quality of the repair.

I've just had a bit of a surprise!
My van insurance is always expensive because it's haulage , usually around £1000
Admiral renewal was £5 more than last year , I use the online chat to add on the latest non fault claim which is settled , with them admitting liability , 12 years NCB , clean licence , no fault claims
This is how it went

Thomas:
Due to the changes you have made the policy has increased by £766.08

Your renewal date is 24/11/2019, it’s a 12 month policy, and your premium is £1718.91 including Motor Legal Protection.

Really, for a non fault claim an increase of £766 surely that can't be right

Thomas:
Unfortunately that is correct, we do rate on both fault and non-fault accidents. I understand that is a large increase in premium.

So it looks like admiral are declining to insure me (by issuing a ridiculous increase)because 2 people weren't looking where they were going
