£6k sounds too cheap for a GTV 6 nowadays especially with such low mileage. There is a 2.0 GTV with 31k on the clock for £13k in C&SC amongst other places.

Just a question...The advert said it was unmolested and had not been renovated.......Surely an Alfa from this time would have had to had rust sorted by now?

It also said it was rust-free. If it's been stored in something like a Carcoon and has been in a de-humidified environment, it shouldn't have rusted. However, I wouldn't like to use it on the road without extensive rust preventative treatment as it's likely to deteriorate fast without it.

Alex Jupe seems to sell his fully sorted ones for between £11k and £15k. So if it really was unmolested and rust-free £6k was a steal.

However, we've all read vendor's descriptions before so £6k might just have been the entry price to a restoration job.

£10k plus is where good / restored GTV 6s are these days but they are complex structures and can hide many traps for the unwary, still a lovely car although they really need the LSD transaxle from the 75TS.
