I've just looked into this event but it's an 8 to midday event & I'm about 3 hours away. That's a long run for a few hours meet. Bugger!

The last time I went I think 80% of people that left left sideways . I think these may be dreams rather than rules.

That's why the boys in blue became regular attendees and the Haynes staff put up banners asking folk to behave responsibly.

It's pretty much inevitable when drivers display more ambition than talent, and the police then respond to complaints from Joe Public. Although 'sideways' makes good viewing on UToob there are too many instances where it went horribly wrong.

However, Maserati folk are far too refined for such antics - unlike some supercar owners:

Opps we have had similar issues at our cafe breakfast meets, now we have a had to enforce a ban on any club that mess about while on or leaving the site where we are ......it’s my business that gets the bad name for hiding the event not the people messing about sadly.
Most of the clubs that book us now are very respectful of the rules

Do you think 4th April was a touch too ambitious? It was only a fiver for the ticket so no big deal
I emailed Haynes today, they haven't reached a decision yet, if it doesn't go ahead, any one who has bought a ticket will be contacted, and ticket valid for next available date, or given a full refund.
