I replied to the email asking to be moved to May and for the Furlough response from a totally different email address

Good way to confuse people

So if it rains, Fifty, Jasst and Hashluck are all bringing their Alpina? Are their Maserati porous?

Mine is, but hopefully for not much longer after I get it undersealed !

I forgot the 4200GT is going in for its annual and some work in late April... So it depends on the duration it is in for work more than the potential for rain

Not been to this event before so if I like it I will join the June event too - for me it's usually the quality of the fry up that brings me back lol

I hope is does rain! I've seen plenty of Maserati's but hardly any Alpina cars, so it would make a nice change for me.

In fact, this forum (and vising Hashluck's garage) has made me take note of them for the first time, and a burning desire is forming...

Note to self - I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE CARS!

That is hilarious, thanks for making my day Ewan. I look forward to quoting this back at you shortly :)

I've signed up for June 6th and am looking forward to it.
However....
Can anyone tell me what happens at these events? I have not found the Haynes website particularly informative and have struggled to form the impression that the car park is reserved for people who have paid £5 (notionally "future classic" drivers, though nowhere did it ask about the type of future classic I would be driving) and that the café would be open from 8am until around 12:00 midday. Is there more to it than that?
More to the point, what would be a good time to arrive there? It's a two hour drive from where I live. But if we can agree times some of us could travel together, meeting at Guildford Cathedral and perhaps the service area on the A303 opposite Popham Airfield (used to be a little chef.)
:)

Only been once, back when it was free... then we just parked in the carpark, chatted, had breakfast, then walked about the museum.
