Frightening isn't it. I am ways say if someone wants to break in you won't stop them, all you can do is delay them or deter them.

I did something of equal numptyness yesterday....came our of the docs after my MOT (cholesterol down to 4.1.....get in!) and turned my ignition on then had a phone call for 15mins and forgot I had the lights on full....flat as a witches tit! Doh!

Luckily a mate was just going in plus I did have some jump leads so got it sorted out.

HM, you need to fit a few deadlocks to your doors, your house insurance company probably wouldn't be too happy to know the only key needed to your house is a flat bit of plastic ! :saifi: Sounds like I should become a locksmith... £106 for 20 seconds work !!!

Conaero, go get yourself a new battery it sounds like that one is on its last legs

It is frightening what some one in the know can do. In days gone by my brother was a bad lad and spent sometime in one of her majesties secure hotels for his bad habit of driving cars that didn't belong to him.

Once released my Dads friend commented how secure his new Merc was and it was my brothers exploits that had convinced him to upgrade to a new high security model. Brother steps out of the room and 2 mins later there is an engine revving outside, we all go to the window to see said Merc doors wide open and stereo blasting and no obvious signs of damage to the car or it's locks.

I've got into my house with a arm through the letter box and a belt! But I have two locks and only the latch one was locked.
