Is there ever enough?
No, the mods themselves are now some 20 years old and the engine is pretty appalling truth be known. Servicing the 'charger, replacing the bearings and teflon coating is a no-brainer really, as getting hold of a decent replacement if it goes bang is going to be expensive anyway. The head is already ported but badly shimmed and poorly matched to the exhaust, so given it's age and the track abuse I want to give it I reckon it deserves a comprehensive fettling. Then there's the crank / flywheel to balance, the upside-down Monte' gearbox to strip and re-build, the mounts to renew and the gear linkage to attend to.......fun, fun, fun.
