If there's a 12-cylinder shoot off happening at some point I quite fancy my chances...!

He knows i hit the redline and forgot to change gear because i was laughing too much. I expect that the first 100mph is close but the FF would keep going from there.

He does know, but where’s the fun in that?

I’m looking to more silliness and belly laughs this year, fella. Not long to wait!

Reading that thread I get the feeling that pistonheads has double standards.

Anyway, that Fezza got to auction and didn't sell at £60k.
Shame. £60k plus £20k of making it bloody good feels like quite a bargain.

That poor car, unfortunately, has been tainted by all the jibber jabber. Better for a private buyer who knows what needs doing, perhaps.

For 60k it becomes viable. Especially if you document the corrective work, if you decide to flip it or own it for a few years and then sell.

Interestingly the thread ran to about 12 pages over the weekend before it was deleted back to three pages and locked by the mods. It was a strange one as the same article had basically been run three years earlier. PH is a brutal place at times but the mods walked into it with this one.

Looks like a full edit of the whole thread

It wasn't the FF thread that got deleted, it was the comments on the article on the dealership in question, the ones with a pond, run by what appears to be pond life.

The monster thread in the Reader's Cars section, linked to at the start of this thread, is now up a 37 pages, and counting.

Looks like PH ran their editorial without being aware that there is a negative momentum on that dealership.

Maybe PH should read PH...

Yep, that's the one I was referring to but it does not multi quote. It was quite a laugh to flick at over a winter's weekend. No idea how much of it is true mind!
