Lovely car. I count it one of the best days of my life when I drove the regular Huracan flat out on a race track outside Las Vegas. Awesome experience. Got up to 141 MPH on their straight which they said was pretty much it. The instructor complimented me on nailing every gear change. Then we jumped into a 458 which I found more confidence inspiring. Lighter more responsive steering and lighter in the tail. You can feel the weight of the extra 2 cylinders. That was a great day.

I used to like Lambos but I very much doubt whether I would ever have one now. I’d take a dancing Donkey over a snorting boll0ck any day.

For me, a bit too much; too extreme and too impractical. Great engines but the styling no longer ticks my boxes.

I think it's true that being closer to 30 than 60 is, optically at least, important when choosing a Lambo. Mind you, I was chatting to a chap in his 70s who had an Aventador and needed two sticks to walk. Proper nasty East-End villain kind of fella. The orange Lambo, the advanced years and the strong whiff of The Blind Beggar was a peculiar mix.

Personally, I'd like a neutral-coloured Perf Spyder, but I'm too tall and they're too in yer face for a weekend in Norfolk (for example).

Indeed. IMO, Lambos are an acquired taste for the yoof of today.

Had a drive in the Performante Spyder in Italy last year. It was the best car I've ever driven and the sound from the v10 is really good with great pops and crackles. Its worth the price if you can afford to buy this beast. It handles really well and builds up speed so quickly and instantly.

I think they are awesome cars but just not for me. too shouty and some of the owners make Ferrari owners look normal

If money were no object I’d have one.......along with a Ferrari.
I don’t lust after either but both brands are certainly at or around the summit of sports car performance excellence.
The Lambo would have to be in a ludicrous colour, whereas the Fezza would just be red.

For me, Lambo opitimise hyper cars. Loud, brash and wildly impractical.

They don't pretend to be GTs or an every day car and offer bonkers colours - yay :)
