How's yours going Andy now you have had it for a week or two ?

Only actual driven it twice as I collected on Saturday drove it on Sunday in torrential rain and then came to Dublin on the Monday. Coming home on Thursday so might have some more time to play. Initial impressions though are really good, for a 1.3 it is surprisingly quick and the handling is amazing.

The first pic does it for me, Martini racing colours probably the most evocative racing colours, closely followed by Rothmans on a Honda NSR500. (think Wayne Gardner or Eddie Lawton 1980's)

I used to take my cars to a guy in Wrexham who owns a a garage called AllItalia. He has a customers 037 Stradale in there for long term work. He told me that the customer found it in a scrapyard with the engine burnt out and managed to purchase it for £3,500!! It is all intact, just needs an engine rebuild.
There was also a guy selling body kits in Blackpool to transform a Montecarlo into an 037. Don't think he is going anymore.

The blokes in New Zealand (Carteroni) will do you an 037 replica for about 100k.
But you have to find a non rotten Montecarlo as a doner car. Which is probably harder than finding the 100k.
