Always loved the Montecarlo.
The problem if I now owned one, I would just end up comparing it to another small rear engined car, the Lotus Elise S1, that I owned for over 8 years. Maybe unfair but nothing can compare to the Elise for its handling and feedback it gives to the driver.

Love them to but would imagine they aren't a great drive these days........Suppose its a classic though...

Echo the sentiments above, I too would love one.

Just wrong time for me, too much going on, no time to do it justice.

Mike, you could always go a'tinkering and end up with an O(MG)37 as featured here........

Some of the most astonishing noises to come out of an engine bay.

a guy round my way (some years ago) had a black Montecarlo which had fitted 308 rear lights and wheels-

and if memory serves me correctly a quad headlight conversion. Every time I saw it I was like;

" wow! there's a... erm...?"

until I realised what was going on- it was quite loud and a lovely example.

I sat in one once at a Lancia meet (my friend had a Lancia) some years ago too...
