about 1000 miles to Bastad. Google says 16 hours.....!
Eb

Yeah, I looked some options. Seem to be no consumer ferries from England to Scandinavia.

It seems to be 760-780 miles and around 14 hours from Calais to Båstad. So it looks like one or two overnight stops each way in, I dunno, Weeze or Cuxhaven

Also, it is soon after Le Mans 2021. So my other plan is to dump you on Monday outside Paris somewhere to make your own way home, pick up a case of Champagne in Reims, drive on to Düsseldorf airport to pick up MrsMarkMas, stay at the Hotel Schloss Dyck (sounds nice), toddle along to Lübeck for another overnight and arrive in Båstad at teatime on the Thursday. Then sell the QP to @Swedish Paul and fly home.

I suppose you’ll be wanting a lift to the airport. There are overnight ferries from Kiel. 200kr for the evening meal all wine included the last time I went. Going back, you can catch the overnight ferry from Rotterdam which docks in Hull.

Yes that would be helpful.

I used to do some work in Malmö before the Öresundsbron was built, and I would fly to Københavns Lufthavn and then take the crappy SAS helicopter to Malmö Harbour Heliport. The boarding Pass would always say 'hydrofoil'. Six sweaty businessmen being flown to a painted circle next to a portacabin by 2 blond 14-year-old boys in SAS caps that didn't fit, in a rickety 20-year old Sikorsky S-61 with signs printed upside down saying things like "Pull escape lever when inverted".

QP has 4 seats. You'll need help quaffing the shampoo and trying to squeeze the bottle intp the QP wine cooler. I'm sure Mrs MarkMas will be rather disappointed at the entertainment on offer in Bastad!

Went to Stockholm once and had a fab evening at a blues bar somewhere. Luckily I was on expenses otherwise the evening wouldn't have been quite so entertaining.
