Official UK Gransport Colours/Numbers

Chaps,

I think its fair to say, I have an interest in GS's in the UK and as a part of my search to get one last year, I started to look at stats. As I make comments on numbers, I thought I'd say what little snippets I know. Now, please take these as indicative as I've been told slightly different numbers a couple of times, but they're no more than a couple out.

Total UK Cars: 417

GranSport Coupe: - 376
GranSport Spyder: - 26
GranSport MC Victory: - 15.

I'm not sure what I can and can't publish as I've not cleared it with the source, but I think I'm OK in saying that there are many different colours too - apprx 25.

The 5 most poular are (not my pictures, just got them off the web...think they're right):

Nero Carbonio - 133

Grigio Touring - 52

Grigio Alfieri - 46

Blue Med - 37

Rosso Mondial - 33

Other colours vary down to a number of one offs. (I put something on MF about the rare colours a while back - I'll see if I can dig it up).

I'd be interested to see how many have been exported and as such, did an FOI to the DVLA. I'm not sure how good their info is as it seems about half have been exported! I think its wrong, but who knows?

I'd be itnerested to hear from ADG/Nuvola to see how many they've exported.

haha.....nah, I really dont have much more information. Apparently, every single car has a seperate record and to get the information is a laborious and time consuming exercise.

16 dealers......listed....are they all main dealers or service agents?

Spread pretty thin.......26 sold each....no doubt the large outlets sold far more......spread pretty thinly really amongst the smaller outlets ......

That Red one Autofficina had for sale was gorgeous, although it was up for 37k.

The first Massa I test drove was a red 4200 and although the guy hadn't kept it concours it still looked stunning. Following the test drive I was hooked and the rest as they say is history. It's gotta be red or black for me.
