Oulton Park Gold Cup -NOTE CHANGE OF DATE!!!!!

I had not noticed that the Gold Cup Meeting has moved from the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Dave Morris tells me that it is now a three day event on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July.

Apparently the organisers want a Supercar Display on each of the three days, so you can go for one, or two or all three days! This time the location will be in front of the restaurant windows.

Unfortunately I am committed to a weekend long Golden Wedding Party, so cannot make a single day. Dave Morris is also unable to be there on the Friday or Saturday.

If you would like to attend, then please send an e-mail to Dave, giving him

• your name and if you will have a passenger
• your full postal address
• the day or days you intend to be there

and he will send you all the documentation by First Class post.

I hadn’t looked at the dates this year. I wonder if the change is because the Silverstone Classic is now on the August Bank Holiday weekend instead of these dates?

Will see what we are doing and maybe go for either Sat or Sun.
