I had seat heaters retrofitted as my QP did not have them already. Surprisingly affordable and effective.

I'm trying to get a headphone amplifier working as an input for the Aux socket so that Spotify is louder.

I'm toying with putting a USB power supply high on the dash somewhere to power my phone without cables dangling all over the console. Maybe it would go in one of these spots:

I use an FM transmitter from Amazon in my QP which does Bluetooth streaming and phone in remarkable quality with no volume loss. It cost £14.99 delivered. I’d like to find a solution that doesn’t mean the ashtray and cigarette lighter are open the whole time as the unit is fitted there but otherwise, best use of £14,99 so far. No sound loss, perfect.

If you have a phone that can wireless charge why not get one of the charging phone holders and then hard wire it in? No cables or cig lighter use.

I found that attaching a magnet to my phone blocks the wireless charge. But otherwise, yeh, good idea.

Ah yes. You have to position the plate away from the charge area which typically is in the centre exactly where you put it. The wireless chargers are normally grip versions to get around this though.
I have to plug mine in to my carplay unit anyway so it sits on a silicone strip which is in the little slot in front of the gear stick

Good idea if it is just plug in and forget, but I suppose you might want to use the features mentioned on the Amazon page: "has a built-in microphone that allows you to easily answer, hang up, reject incoming calls or redial the last number with a click of the button. You can use the multi-function buttons to control calls and music, seamlessly switch between calls and music, for safer drive."

It needs to be accessible as there are wee buttons to answer/end calls and skip tracks from Tidal/Spotify etc. Also, I don't have a charging outlet in the armrest of mine, just an air con vent that claims to cool the space. My car has the phone on the armrest lid, don't know if that's why as it needs power to work. It's very cool, makes me feel like Gordon Gekko.

Im pretty sure the 166 mirror fits the 4200 and gransport. They are almost identical. From memory the 166 is slightly more sharp edged and the mas version softer rounded corners.

2nd hand alfa ones are still around £150.

Is it a stretch to suggest the 166 mirror fits the 4200 & is plug'n'play as loom is present...?
