If it doesn't go for stupid money and you give it the once over, a no brainer.....but inclined to check it for straightness even before you buy!

Nikolas, first thing's first....

You know those parts you took for sand blasting ?

I've got another few parts for you to take from inside the engine bay. Would this be possible ?

Right... lets get things organized:

I will be removing the front bumper mounts, battery tray, and all other brackets in the engine bay from the ABS pump forward.
The ABS will stay in place for obvious reasons.

Then, while you take those parts for sandblasting, I will remove all front bits and electrical wiring of the lights, coil, radiator fan etc and begin preparation for welding.

You have a couple of places in the inner wings from the wheel side, not the engine bay, that need a bit of work.
I will scrape the underseal off so Mario can weld a couple of those pieces as well.

Now, Mario suggested we paint the engine bay in mat white, not gloss paint, because the rest of the paint in there is mat anyway, and I agree.

The front lower section of the front panel will be opened up, repaired and welded, and then it will be treated with waxoyl prior to painting, to ensure that all cavities are treated.
Right now, all of your cavities are filled with dirt. Thats all gonna go away.

I'm taking Mario's keys to the shop and I'll start working on it as soon as possible.
Meanwhile Mario can start working on the front lower section.

Dont worry, its gonna be better than new ;)

The only thing that worries me is that your front bonnet is quite rusted where the hinges bolt on.
Thats something you need to think about if you are bringing any new panels for this car in the future.

All Good!
Ok, about this, what would you like me to do now?
Is this something that we can sort out for the moment (in order to put the engine back and for the car to operate properly)
and look again after I bring the panels in the future?

My cousin owns cavenco shipping, try giving them a call, the are cypriot so may do a little something for you

Thanks I will look for them :)

No need to do something at this point.

You arent painting the bonnet anyway, so when you paint the car, we can fix it

Dont worry, really, your mechanic is great at mechanical work, but as it turns out he doenst know much about bodywork.
They presented the case to you in an extremely tragic way ! lol

Yes it needs some work, but no, its not even that serious ;)

Look at the comments that I made in the "Pictures of your Alfa's here" thread right after you posted your cars?

What I had in my mind when I posted that, was to paint my Delta the same white color as your 33 (after I finished with all the rust)!!!

Nikolas,

I took some time off from work today and went down to Mario's shop.

I removed all the wiring from the areas where there will be welding involved, and I have a box of brackets for you to take sandblasting

I'll give them to you tomorrow.

Welding begins tomorrow ;)
