So here you go, I'm looking for a gallardo

Let's start this nice and easy. please assume I'll buy unseen over the net to trigger my 14 day privilege of return.

Anyhoo, now thats out of the way. It's Lambo time. And the Gallardo being the most affordable of the modern type Lambos I'm on the hunt.

Ideally no more than 80k but willing to buy bottom of the pack. Not fussed about resale - this car won't see the inside of a lambo dealer or specialist unless absolutely necessary.

I can buy now with a bit of tick tock or end of the year without. This is not a replacement for the GT.

So hit me with it, what should I be looking out for?

Number of owners being one I assume.

Will a gallardo get over a speed bump? You know the ones where they are square and I straddle them in the GT?

Differences were F1 box or manual, RWD or AWD.
Mates father had the Superleggera which had stripes on the side and scaffolding inside. Maybe racier seats too.

Dan on here ran one for a while a few years ago full fat version.
Just buy from a good source would be my advice.

I Need to test out the speed bump issue. Access to my place is by two roads, both with different types of speed bumps.

at 6ft2 also interested in cabin space and sizing.

I would find the one closest to you for sale and go and take a look.
I'm also 6 foot 2 and drove a Aventador after working on it when I was a technician for Maserati with no issues.
A friend of mine in Weston super Mare has one he's 6 foot 4.
He's on Instagram as Somerset Viking.

I'll be heading off to take a look at a few. I'm also interested to see how prices end up over the next few months, unless I jump in eagerly sooner than that.

Shame they don't have lambo doors as such, but that's just the kid in me.

Just had a look surprised that they are not more expensive, not my thing but they do always draw a crowd and look a lot of theatre whenever I see them

Random advert mentions a nose lift so worth seeing how much lift that actually gives. Speed bumps seem to be growing!

SZ has suspension that can be lifted with a press of a button, not normally required for speed bumps but makes betting on ferries much easier

Will make running the Maser seem like peanuts - take a look at Eurospares for the cost of parts

Insurance quote without using NCB £500. That's business use too.

I paid more for my first sports bike.

regarding the front nose lift, hoping to find out this. The GT scrapes at the moment.

I'll have to try both. The convertible would be great for the noise.

What seems odd, lot of cars apparently sold or deposits taken but still online.

Orange is the best asbo colour.

I would recommend buying a LP car as the pre LP cars needs CATs replacing. A few cars needed engine rebuild as CAT was swallowed up by the engine.

I have nose lift on my car but haven't had to use it very often. My GT scrapes more than the Gallardo.

The overall maintenance on my manual LP560 has been cheaper than the GT.

Echo the comments if you’re over 6ft, I always struggled to be comfortable in mine.
They’re archaic but epic, having driven a friends gen 2 v10 plus r8, I think I’d add that to your list to test drive …
