Silly thing is I have had more reversing incidents and written off a 2.5 year old Jag in my time.
She is generally safer but kills cars by an attrition of light knocks and telling me of a problem a month after a strange noise appears and the car is not driving well!

Finally got a pair of front struts, had the new rad a few weeks and the hill climb gearbox, and clutch, then i broke the gear linkage last weekend. Got to drive into Bristol Tuesday morn with only third gear
All that being done at once Give me a shout when you go up, i will pop up, only 10 mins from me
