Morni'n Leddeez n' Genn'lemenz :)

Hah! This morni'n I learned that I don't have to finish the prep on the GTV for Dunsfold after all ....... :( :)

Apparently I didn't vomit out the cash quickly enough for the 'new person' official's liking - only 24 hours notice emailed to me and I didn't see it until a couple of days later as I don't use a gizmophone.

(sigh!) I fondly remember when there was no charge for us to provide the spectator bait for the organiser's benefit.
Y'know, just spend a day to get the car nice & sparkly and drive miles to/from the event at your own expense with a full tank of Shell Nitro!!

Hey-ho! My overnight accommodation and other arrangements have now been duly cancelled and earlier today I thought "I can do without this HASSLE in my life" and later "Can I do without this HASSLE in my life?"
I'm sure I'll be mended tomorrow............................... ;)

Bloody Alfa! She literally is, as she is leaking power steering fluid all over the garage floor. Looks like time to change the 4x4 hydraulic lines to the rear accumulator- remove rear subframe, diff and fuel tank and it’s straight forward from that point onwards

Morning all,

I broke my metacarpal bone behind my right index finger after slipping on a rock whilst descending Snowdon- not an epic mountain or motorbike fail, just an innocuous incident really

The bandage and splint is Bangor A&E’s memorial to Reg Prescott

Strad I suppose, get it cleaned up for Saturday Brands Hatch Italia and whip the front seat out and insure the 6m gazebo I guess.

Afternoon. Looks rather more dramatic than that in the photo........ hope it heals quickly........ I've had a fair few falls/slips in the hills (used to live in Portinscale Nr Keswick in the Lake District) and I know (from personal experience) how easy it is to loose grip on slippy rocks/grass.
