Hah! This morni'n I learned that I don't have to finish the prep on the GTV for Dunsfold after all .......
Apparently I didn't vomit out the cash quickly enough for the 'new person' official's liking - only 24 hours notice emailed to me and I didn't see it until a couple of days later as I don't use a gizmophone.
(sigh!) I fondly remember when there was no charge for us to provide the spectator bait for the organiser's benefit.
Y'know, just spend a day to get the car nice & sparkly and drive miles to/from the event at your own expense with a full tank of Shell Nitro!!

Bloody Alfa! She literally is, as she is leaking power steering fluid all over the garage floor. Looks like time to change the 4x4 hydraulic lines to the rear accumulator- remove rear subframe, diff and fuel tank and it’s straight forward from that point onwards
Afternoon. Looks rather more dramatic than that in the photo........ hope it heals quickly........ I've had a fair few falls/slips in the hills (used to live in Portinscale Nr Keswick in the Lake District) and I know (from personal experience) how easy it is to loose grip on slippy rocks/grass.
