The perils of taking your pride and joy track racing.....

This is the result of a well known Lancisto in Ireland who races his B20 coupe regularly.

This particular car has a history of track racing going back to the 1970s, featuring in approximately 200 events.

He hit end wall at about 80, overturned and slid up track about 100 metres.

Luckily Kevin has a full race prepared car and walked away.

The B20 is being assessed for repair and owner is committed to fix it.

It was more bad luck, than loosing control.

The driver on the stretcher deathed it....so maybe its time to close,it was very dangerous in those days and drivers got injured every weekend!
