OK, never done this before, I'll be leaving my 3200 for possibly a couple of weeks at a time in a garage so want to get a trickle charger for the battery. Anyone got one they want to pass on? If not, please can I have some ideas/recommendations for what to get...

You can buy a 'Maserati' Branded item at around £90 second hand but it is really a CTEK XS 0.8 which retails at around £30 and is only built to trickle charge 32Ah Batteries (Max current 0.8A).

A 4200CC battery has a lot more capacity than this. So go for a CTEK MXS 5.0 which has a maximum current of 5A and will desulphate your battery if required and will properly charge it and test it too. It can do bikes too.

Do we like lights, Chris? :D

I'm going to buy several, and hang them in the trees outside my house! :)

I get confused as to which thread I'm in these days. It's my age, or seasonal alcohol poisoning. One of the other ;)

I've just order the C-Tek using the link at the beginning of the thread. £59 including delivery and Vat. Should arrive on Wednesday. I have a couple of old ones already, which are just about okay but I fancied a more modern, faster, feature-laden version.

Me too. Since I am now planning to use the car less over the winter, it seemed like a good idea. This thread was very timely :)
