Warning lights all coming on?

I had similar issue and replacing the battery did not help. The warning message came as soon as the car started. It turned out to be the ABS senor.

I have a few cars charging on CTEK through a smartplug so can easily turn them on and off from anywhere.

Exactly so. The sensors can fail gradually and can be voltage sensitive firing when battery is just slightly below par. It is an early indication that one is on the way out and will eventually fail hard. When it occurs turn off ignition, key out. Cycle the electronic handbrake to ensure that is reset and working. 5 minutes restart. It may clear. If not drive assuming that no of the assists work ABS ASR etc and ensure park brake disengaged. Get the sensors checked and close one avenue off.
Mine started to fail in June. Replaced battery. Still failed. But top it up.
Scheduled for AutoItalia test when bearing become available.

Will check, it’s a genuine one as put on by HRO

Definitely worth checking as my 2010 GranCabrio had a genuine Maserati AGM battery fitted from new, but I replaced it with a normal battery now. My CTEK has an AGM mode on it but doesn’t automatically switch to it and you have to switch it over from normal battery mode…annoying after power cuts too. If you have an AGM fitted and your charger doesn’t have that capability, that will damage the battery quite quickly.

As others have mentioned hopefully it’s not the ABS sensor. Fingers crossed for you

I've have an MXS 10 with a temperature sensor, so it compensates depending on temperature.

It does have temperature compensation, but as the temp sensor is inside the charger, it’s not really ideal. It needs to be next to the battery to really work. For anyone interested in what goes on in a Ctek might useful.

AGM batteries need a lower “float” voltage (this is the voltage a float charger needs to provide to keep the battery in good condition and not overcharge) than a standard VRLA battery. Too much charging or high float causes hydrolysis where the electrolyte effectively evaporates. This is probably what is happening.

Also, no Clutch position sensors of later type headlights to add the growing list.

Blimey, so if fault is due to ABS sensor car not safe to drive until new ones around. Mind will not effect the amount I’ve been using mine of recent times

If my car was going to be off the road for 3-4 months I think I would be seriously taking a chance with a second hand unit.

If was March or April I would be an unhappy teddy, but with winter coming I drive the GC on a small number of occasions. I hope though that this is not the sign of things to come. Would be such a shame to see lots of these cars off the road due to lack of support on spares.

Barr Tech and a few others all saying no joy until Jan at earliest. Had a look on line, but all seem out out of stock. Where did you see Dicky?
Lots of used ones on eBay, new ones all over the world on a couple of other sites too. Just Google the part no.

It’s just Italian ‘character’ so it’ll come and go at random times until it gets scrapped. Don’t fight it, embrace it.
