Yes, I had a chap look at it at it this weekend and the deal is done - he picks it up on Friday.

I don't think he is on here, but mentioned the forum a few times so no doubt he will take a look to see what SM is all about! Although he did ask all the right questions so I think he was up to speed on buying one of these.

Still thinking about RS4/M3 but haven't had much chance to look for one. Anyone driven a M3 with the SMG gearbox?

Now I've only got my Lexus to sell.....2000 SE, 62k miles on the clock FLSH been in my family over 8 years......

Never been in a BMW taxi in Germany as they are always Mercs. Talking of which, my mum has a c-class so therefore they are not cool no matter how much bhp they have! Plus I would never live it down as I also have her old Lexus...

Don't know whether I want to push to the new shape M3 and was thinking about the old shape M3 CS which has the good bits from the CSL but with a bit of luxury from the normal one. The CS does seem to be a real premium over the normal M3s especially when you consider they were only 2.5k more to buy new (they seem to be 5k+ more on the used market).

I think 25k is my max so that brings into play the M3 CS (Manual/SMG II) RS4 (Manual) or maybe the M5 (SMG II?).
