Dem, thats a stunnign Alfa....If it looks like that then they should have a Q at the door......I'm with you on the 4 series...a stunning car....One that looks very different from the 3 saloon which is why I suppose it's to be badged the 4 series.....Means the end of the M3 Coupe though which is a shame.....

I am confused, they say that Duetto is the production 4C, well its not. It is a Mazda MX5 with an Alfa body. It looks lovely but it is not the carbon tubbed 4C, its a totally different car and weighs 200kg more than the 4C's targeted weight.

Basically, if Alfa are saying this is the 4C, they have dropped it.

What confuses me is the sheer amount of high spec cars coming out in the worse recession just about ever. There still seems to be a vast amount of disposable cash kicking about, the only problem is, none of it's mine!

Bit tenuous this one, but... a friend of an Italian colleague works in the design team at Alfa and according to him the 4C is still a live project. There have been issues with weight and keeping the costs down to align with the anticipated pricing.

The Alfa Spyder is nice, the Bentley GTC too, the BMW 4 looks like Clarkson driving at 100 mph with no windscreen and blown cheeks...!!!

Cars keep selling, especially luxury brands - mostly in China, Brazil etc- bear in mind the Chinese have to pay full price plus 80% luxury tax, so a Range Rover is over £200K to them, but still take 70-80% of all JLR output.
