I confess I don't know that model, I assume being 2007 it was sort of a highly speced end of line model.

1of500 is not very limited and the 1.6TS engine is not sort after.

If it's good nick I would say take anything over £2k

that helps thanks. A friend's friend is selling his for 1750 quid and wondering whether to take a punt on reselling.

With a TS cambelt is everything. 1.6 is low power. Remember I test drove the 2.0TS when it first came out and was not impressed.

The biggest problem though is the front bushes in the suspention. I was forever replacing them in my GT so much so I got fed up and sold it in the end. Drive over potholes and see if it rattles through the floor post impact.

Aye, Im in a 2.0 TS now for a run about and the power is'nt great to be fair. Even on 17 inchers, I feel the ground beneath so much, more so than when my QP was on 21s

TS is a great engine but its lagging behind on fuel consumption somewhat. Alfa tried to address this with the JTS but killed the character of the engine.

The 2L TS is a great engine in the 156 and GTV, it felt dead in the GT/147, why that is I don't know, maybe weight or maybe it was remapped in an attempt to address the consumption.

My first GTV TS had a power band at 4k rpm, it was impossible to drive it slowly as you always revved for that power band, probably why they ate the fuel I suppose. Remove the power band, kill the engine but improve the consumption.

The 1.6 TS has no power but it is a lovely little engine, when you get used to spinning the revs up it is fine
