2019 Ghibli Gransport Diesel ULEZ?

Hi guys
I’ve been paying the Ulez charge for 2 years as TFL has always advised my 2019 3.0L Diesel Gransport Ghibli is not compliant, however someone recently stated they thought the car fell under Euro6 compliance and therefore TFL are incorrect?
Does anyone know the situation here?
I contacted HR Owen who want £500 to give me a Certificate of Conformity which I think is shocking to be honest and a non starter. They haven’t even said if it is or isn’t compliant?
Car reg is L2VME
Does anyone have any advice please?

Thanks.
Does this not work off the engine of the range and not the individual car?
I’m trying to gauge if anyone else has this car and any issues?

So what an absolute joke this is.
HR Owen want £500 to offer up a letter of conformity from Maserati if the car is Euro6 and conforms to the standards…
I’m still in the dark if it does as it’s Euro6 but from what I can see online the emissions are 158 g/km and I’m unsure what Ulez requires and if Euro6 is enough…

I’ve tried some other regs from the same year and engine and compliant.
My Granturismo Sport is 2013 and 365 g/km and compliant! Work that one out…

Have you checked that the certificate is not in your book pack ?
Five years ago Porsche sent me one for free but last year Jaguar charged me £250 for my old XJ6.

Yes I have checked…. It baffles me that for an engine there isn’t a standard manufacturers document available for download.

Euro 6 is enough. The ‘emissions’ being 158g/km is a red herring as ULEZ compliance is not about carbon emissions but only about NOx and PM (particulates).

For some reason, your car must be showing in the ULEZ database as not EURO6. It does happen. If you put your number plate in here you can confirm that.

I had a friend whose Tesla also showed as non-compliant as it hadn’t been registered correctly with the DVLA. He spoke to TfL and got it sorted without needing a certificate from a dealer.

You could also email Maserati in Italy. They were very helpful to me and provided all the ULEZ relevant information, even though it confirmed my Spyder was non-compliant. info@maserati.com

Best of luck.

Edited to add:
I checked out your car on the DVLA site. It is showing as EURO 6 BG which should be compliant. Maybe the ULEZ system reads EURO 6 BG as non-compliant. Whatever, I think you should try to straighten this out directly with TfL as you can prove via DVLA that you are compliant. And TfL will
owe you a refund of all the ULEZ charges you have paid IMHO.

Do you have to go through HR Owen? When I obtained a CoC for my Alfa (which I bought new in Belgium and had to import) I contacted Alfa Spa in Italy. Back then they supplied it for no charge.

I think it is outrageous that anyone, manufacturer or importer, would charge for it. It is essentially the birth cert of your car. It should be free, or a nominal admin fee.

Thanks for all the replies. I am going to contact TFL and speak with them…
It’s frustrating as I feel they try and make it as hard as possible to help you in these circumstances.
Yea my Ghibli is Ad-Blue also…
