I know it's about numbers not handling but I would have thought that the wheelbase is too short to handle that much weight over the back.

To be fair, I saw and heard plenty of 4C's in Italy last week, and they didn't look like they were suffering from either a lack of power or an aural experience, in fact they sounded bloody awesome, not at all what I had been led to expect. I think a big V8 would kill the car, but Alfa's venerable V6 might be a different story....

Indeed Yeti, they have got the best out of that hatchback engine but it should always have been the Arese V6, now just how good would that have been!

I'm surprised they put a 1.7turbo engine in it in the first place. My Mrs's mito is 1.4turbo. Were alfa trying for £0 tax?

I'm so looking forward to reading how they map the engine not to shred its tyres and to keep it in a straight line. I wonder whether they'll restrict the hp delivery? Hmm. Fundamentally stupid idea as far as I'm concerned.
