Bad thing with the 04-05 cars is the center console is different compared to the 06 onwards cars as the sat nav is built in with a screen.

I may well be out of step here but I will say it anyway; I just don't get it. The 612 is an extraordinary machine but it is a bit of a mess in IMO. The proportions are wrong. The bonnet is too long and a bit thick; the rear is a straight 550/575 copy, (which is no bad thing, but looks better on a 550/575) but it is too short for the front and the front is not their best design. I would much rather have a 550.

I don't think you're out of step, Benny.
I really dislike the 612, always have. I think the proportions are all wrong, it looks heavy and bloated. There, I said it!

I like it, alot. Fortunately we all like different things! It perhaps didn't look great when it came out, now I think it looks epic, has aged very well indeed. The FF strangely I liked much quicker and that is a thoroughly odd design.

But I think there is still plenty to lose on a 612 at £65k, can see these being sub £45k in a few years, the same fate as the 456 unless they have no miles and are garage queens. Having said that, the FF is astonishingly expensive so maybe late 612s will stay desirable for longer.

Best value for money has to be the 550/575, that's bottomed out. And the owners don't seem scared to drive them either, plenty of them with decent mileage.
