I assure you Adam, it will live up to your expectations! Even now it isn't dated to drive... so well balanced, so fast, so revvy! Had the UK press car (it was even yellow!) for a while, amazing machine and a certain future classic. Tone of pace, not intimidating at all, looks have aged VERY well and as reliable as any other Honda. What's not like. Thing like the Senna connection, aluminum chassis, 9k revs jut make it more desireable!

3.2 V6 manual targa for me with Mugen exhaust and induction. Not the purest due to lack of roof, but the most useable for me.

The noise is one of the main attractions Lewis, how can Honda make an engine sound that good without any fancy/trick exhaust system. In terms of looks, i think it still looks fantastic today and like you say will be a future classic if anything, it is a classic now. RE the Targa model, i quite like the Targa, nothing like open top driving. I would not go for an Auto as it is a full auto model, it is not connected to a manual transmission. Prices seem to be going up as cars in the UK are so rare so i think your best bet maybe to try and track down a good example for sale in Japan as they are more popular over there. Yellow is my 2nd fave colour, my dream NSX would be in Imola Orange pearl.

So question is, facelifted or pre facelift NSX? for me, facelift, think it is slightly better looking however, they are fetching big money.

Pre facelift cars.

Yeah the back is quite plain in comparison to the rest of the car. The prices of these differ so much, a facelift NSX can fetch 50K plus. If i ever get the opportunity to own one, it will probably be a pre facelift as the facelift is fantasy money.

I think the NSX is a car that does have a soul, many that have driven them do say they are a very unique car to drive, highly regarded as a great car with a superb chassis. I will always prefer the facelift car but would not turn my nose up to a pre facelift NSX, after all, the pre facelift had Senna's input.

Regarding the GTR and LFA Dem, the LFA is 340k, obsurd amount of money however as my dad owns a lexus, me and my dad were speaking to the boss from Lexus UK, just by chance we spoke to him as he was visiting the Lexus dealer where we had our Lexus from, he was telling us that there is a lot of interest for the car and a few have placed orders from the UK. I have to say having sat in one at Pistonheads show, they are a phenominal car and the quality is better than any German car.

Honda i dont think will ever make another NSX Dem, it has been rumoured for years but nothing has developed. It would be interesring to see how much of a success a new NSX would be if it was priced at around 65-70k.

Honda do not have a hallo car in the range which is a real shame as they have built some great sports cars over the years......................

Honda dont make a proper Type R anymore, i have been in the 2nd gen Civic Type R (2002-2006) and the 3rd gen (2007-2010) and the difference was huge, the 2nd gen car felt so raw and revvy yet the 3rd gen car just felt like a normal Civic. I wonder if Honda will ever make another Type R model again but your right Andy, they have made some good stuff over the years, Integra, S2000, Civic Type R, NSX etc..
