If so what are your feelings regarding the recent drop in form?

For me, I am lovin it. Never liked ManU for the main reason it attracts plastic fans, not all but a lot.....I am going to start following football, ok what team do I pick.

Personally, it should be law to support you home town team whete you grew up or support your fathers team.

For me, I have to support Southampton, we ain't ever going to win anything but it just works out that way. As long as we are a Premiership team, I'll be happy.

Malta,London,Canada and Bradford I **** you not.
Law of averages says one club alone cannot dominate English football forever.
Get over it and get behind your team glory seeking *****.

If I liked football (I don't hate the game, I just don't watch it religiously) then yes I'd support my home team.
Seems silly to me not to.

You were unhappy for a fair few years then? :D

God yes, there were some dark years in there, but to be honest the past 4 seasons have been my fondest ever. From bottom of the third division to the top of the Prem is a formidable achievement. The wheels seem to have come off a bit at the mo but that's down to some horrific injuries.

BD, you live in the city you must have felt the jubilation the club has generated?

I support Manchester United since i was a kid. When Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Sloskjear etc used to play.

For sure Liverpool was a bigger club still back then but i dont know why i just chose Man Utd because of these players. The season i followed most was in 2008. It was a dream team. With Ronaldo Tevez and Rooney at the front. I was very sad when Tevez left the club. I was even more sad when Ronaldo left.

Now about today, i am for sure not happy with this years performance but you cant always be at the top. Lets not forget how many things they have won for the last few years. Also the fact that Fergie has gone has made a huge impact on the team. Its not easy when you have a manager for so many years and then he leaves.
And for those who moan about David Moyes they need to give him time. The pressure is a lot and its not easy what he has taken over. Managers need time (depends where they are and what team theyre managing). Dont forget that Sir Alex had difficult times too before he became a successful manager.

So yes its not the end of the world and you cant win all the time. In life there are always ups and downs

Oh don't get me wrong, I like to see them doing well. But I'm not affected in any way if they lose.
Everyone around me is, but I escape the depression :D

Shouldn't the OP be something more like are there any moaners on here who actually live near the club?

I follow local teams, inc. my team of birth!
