I was thinking. And following on from various conversations today, instead of just meeting up and looking at cars next year I feel, especially as the non drivers were doing their bit (Martin & Phil's misuses especially) that we should book somewhere to stay and have a few (loads of) beers afterwards and maybe a curry. Or just more beer!

I've never made Auto Italian, it has been on the list for years. I'd certainly be up for that.

That sounds like a good plan. I stayed at the De Veres at Gorse Hill last time I went a couple of years ago. Nothing fancy and quite cheap, but quite a photogenic location and they did a decent breakfast.

I've just read the opening post to Mrs MLC, and she's just laughed at her notoriety...

Hopefully next year we'll be living closer but we'd be up for it.

I'm in!

It's a good idea as we've been discussing a summer bash in a similar vein to the Xmas do. Chances are it will be impossible to arrange as people take holidays June through to September - finding a date that suits most will be hard/impossible. This could be the event that precludes a fun evening for all.
