Looks like I may be coming along as well, albeit not in an Itai wagon, so I'll have to park with the peasants.

What time are MAF and Fel Crud aiming to meet or intercept one another as I could join that party :)

Excellent! I think we're aiming for a rendezvous/fly by J18 of the M25 at around 8:30, will confirm.

Thanks again for an excellent lunch yesterday.

It was good to meet up!

Seeing as Adam and I live about 10 miles apart I'll see if I can intercept him along the way so you'll have two grey targets to aim for around J18

This by email from Brooklands:

Thank you for buying your advance tickets to one of our largest events of the year, Auto Italia. With less than 24 hours to go we thought we would send you a quick email to make sure you have all the information you need to make you day as enjoyable as possible. We have sold an unprecedented number of advance tickets this year so we anticipate that the site will be busier than ever!

Italian cars should enter the Museum site via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road which has a fast lane access for ticket holders from 8am (follow event signage on the day). As the Museum site fills up, Italian cars will be re-directed to designated public parking areas, which are in The Heights off Wellington Way with overflow parking in the Community Park if required. From here, there is a park and ride bus service. There will be no parking in the Museum’s normal visitor car park at Mercedes-Benz World for this event. Please note that these tickets are for admission only and, while we will work to accommodate as many Italian cars as possible, does not guarantee space on the Museum site.

The timetable for the day is as follows:
8.00 Gates open (ticket holders)
8.30 Gates open (general entry)
9.00-11.00 Track signing on (for pre-booked entrants - FULL)
10.00 Museum displays and aircraft open
11.00 Mercedes-Benz World Track Drivers’ briefing
12.00-13.00 Mercedes-Benz World track demo
13.00-14.00 Test Hill Signing on
14.00 Test Hill Drivers’ briefing
14.45-15.30 Test Hill
17.00 Event and Museum closed
