Have fun on the parade laps, tried and failed to get on them again! ;)

Will have me camera trained on the track as per normal mind ;)

Thanks looks like same order as last year from recollection. I've mailed him to confirm I have a place. Hopefully I won't be with modern cars as I suspect the ghibli won't like corners too much . Anyone else have confirmation?

Nope have a booking form for the Friday track session which I am still two minds on at the moment.

Confirmation from Phil this morning for parade lap and test hill (bit worried about my exhaust). Now just need to get the car back in time.

All display and track demonstration cars will have exclusive entry via the Brooklands Road entrance (unless otherwise agreed). Pre-booking is advised to benefit from fast track entry.

Might have to finally buy a GoPro now.

My advice is borrow one if you can. I've spent a fortune on mine with all of the various accessories (which you will discover you need!). I reckon I've used it no more than 5 times in 2+ years. I take it everywhere - Le Mans, Brunty, Brooklands etc and always forget to use it!

I've also had confirmation of Auto Italia stuff, plus the Longcross day.

The MB track at Brooklands is all corners. Apart from that first brief straight it's a tyre-shredding, brake-bothering corner fest and not remotely suited a a big ol ' GTS. Fun, but it just annoyed my car. Something smaller and half a ton lighter would have a blast.

As for GoPros they need a lot of time and attention to get anything worth having. Mrs Crud got quite irritated on our family Eurothrash last year because I kept dicking about with the GoPros, but the end result, after a few long flights to give me the time and peace to do the editing, was well worth it.

My 4200 has 4 mounts on various bits of the car (front grill, rear valance & 2 inside).

So I'm ready to go.

Was also thinking it would be handy for Scuba Diving as well.

Mmmmmmmmmmm
Volunteered for the Brooklands parade but still have'nt heard back (I mention this in the hope that S*d's Law still works and I shall hear within the hour!)
Nearly tore the engine out of the GTV last year on the hillclimb so not too keen to repeat that experience!
H

Just a quick moan, an indulgence, mainly to make me feel better -
Still not heard about my parade lap application, so s*d's law didn't work :), didn't happen to my entries in the 'good old days' of '56.
I'm off to have a sulk now in fleecy leather slippers in front of the fire, regressing to stereotype. Life's a female dog! (Site wouldn't accept *****!)

Spot on, a GTS is too big, 3200 was great round there as were the GS/4200's. Here's the SM collective doing their thing at the Supercar Sunday.
