Luckily Mrs P is in the same room so there's no chance... but a black Testarossa for £23k!!!!

Smoke tastic

You might think I'm nuts but I can remember the chiaro blue Boxer that was recently in Classic and Sportscar in similar condition (worse actually - no mot) going for £30k about 12 years ago. On sale for £100k now.

Tuck this away, tinker with it, improve it, you'll get your money back ok, Testarossa's are so cheap. Ok the looks divide folk but I think a black one in the flesh looks ace, and they are so small now!!!!

Bag of sh1t. Too big, too wide, too Miami vice and not dynamic enough, I would much rather have a leggy GS, and Herpes.

Agree with Benny but maybe not as blunt.....Reminds me of white socks and jackets with the sleeves rolled up...

How much do good ones go for these days....23k (if it goes for that) seems cheap...

If you like Miami Vice.........You are right though Peter..Its a Ferrari and is still iconic to some....Remember seeing Tiff driving one on Top Gear many moons ago and back then even I liked it... A different time I suppose...

I'm really tempted just because I used to have a poster on my wall! I agree with the 80's styling being really dated though. Would honestly feel like a right *** driving it. Imagine how you'd look, I'd have to wear a stig crash helmet.

I stopped trying to do fashion about 15 years ago, makes mornings so easy, jeans and shirt every day, simple. Anyway, had a think about the Ferrari, I don't think, even with the work done, that I could keep a straight face when convincing someone they'd look really cool in it!

A little niggle for me, if a right hand drive one, is the gear gate still on the left of the tunnel, they just bent the gear lever over!

I always liked the Testarossa and prefer it to the 355 anytime; yes it does have a date window but look at the 70's Fezzas & apply the same logic. Another 10 years and we will remember them more fondly I'm sure. Trouble is if I had it I'd drive it all the time and they tended not to like high mileages!
