You are ordering them in and paying upfront? That's a lot of dough to front up mate...

I was just thinking the same.
Do you think owners will also buy 'unbranded' brake discs from an unknown source (no offence)?
They are rather 'safety critical'

I'm a graduate engineer and have worked for Volvo, Mercedes BMW and Lotus plus I've bought stuff like this before.
They will be excellent or I wouldn't do it.

I'll fit a pair to my own car and give it some serious testing, which should be fun and an excuse to go for a serious blast.

If the steel used is pure and treated correctly, they should perform like any other, any flaws in the steel and you will have issues..!!

my $0.02
These sound like a good alternate to main dealer prices, but..........
Looking at eurospares site for my new water radiator, noticed both 550 and 3200 front disk appear "in stock".

550 are £302 inc VAT + shipping
3200 are £438 inc VAT + shipping

OK Neil..!!
As I cracked my brake pads at Brunty, I'm having new ones put on and decided to try Ferodo DS2000, they are supposed to have decent performance, time will tell..!!

Cracked pads !!

Don't bother with the ferodo, which are pretty average compound for normal use. Go for something hotter.
My EBC yellowstuff + 550 disks are holding up a treat.

Yes the pads had plenty of material left, but were apparently cracked, so had to go..??
I have fitted the Ferodo Racing Pads DS2000, which I am told are good, but I wait to find out as they are still bedding in, they are supposed to have copper in them which also reduces disc wear, so I am told..!! I was going to get Yellow Stuff, but I was caught out a bit and needed pads..!!

Quite possibly if they work to your satisfaction. I'll confirm when back from Modena.

Just bought a set of Yellowstuff fronts which I'll fit next week. I'll have to go for a couple of shake down runs to bed them in and check everything is aok for Modena.. Could be fun!

and hodroyd too

Have you see some detailed advice on bedding in? I read on online that was well geeky but very informative. I did 10 runs at low speed , almost stopping from 60mph, then added several higher speed runs needed for "high temperature pads". My braking is transformed and the whole disk surface is wiped clean and stays so. Well impressed.

That's the general plan, does not always work as I get smiling and floor it, then realise I have to stop with brakes not bedded in, back to sensible, then floor it again, what a life..!!

Bring it on Neil...you'll be upsetting a few people though, some of these fat wallet Italian car part importers need a good kicking with their outrageous profit margins!

You wait till we release our CambioCorsa clutch plate and upgraded cover for half the price of Maseratis that fits the F430 too. That will teach them for trying to stamp on our Celebrations in Modena.

I'll update you all when its ready to ship.

There is also someone doing 3200 clutches too as Sachs have run out and are not producing anymore.
