Hate to ram home the point C'man, but remember and get them to check your bones with weight on the wheel. Cracks have been missed by so many mots and service checks it is almost unreal.

All,

With Brunty not that far away just want to make sure you are all getting your cars in shape for the event.......

Remember that this is an invitation only and you will be taking the public of all ages around track at speed. Helmets are not needed for the day due to it being a private event. SO please ensure you that you are happy that your car is well prepared and safe for the event. One area that I need to mention is the cracked wishbone issue. If you are aware that your car has this issue then can I ask that it is fixed for this event. If it was just yourself in the car I wouldn't be mentioning this but as you could have children of all ages in your vehicles and this issue is major and could have catastrophic consequences we really cannot put anyone at risk including yourselves. Don't want to put a dampers on the event but I think this is really important for everyone's safety on the day.

Thanks again to everyone who have committed to the event again this year it is really appreciated.

Will just post this when we change pages to make sure all see....

Also don't forget if you haven't sent an email address for me to send the passes to can you please..

Thanks, Andy....

No worries. Felice fixed it. He knows exactly what needs to be checked.

C has already posted that one of his is cracked all the way through, on the wishbones thread. Did you submit the VOSA form C?

I'm happy to bring my seesnake camera on the day (or evening before) it's perfect for seeing the inside edge of the 'bone without any jacking up...

Andy,

Happy to be there all day but would prefer to join the track later morning and all afternoon, I have never really given myself any time to see the rest of the events on previous years and would like to this time out :) Saving the car for later may be a good thing as we have tended to fall back on a few old faithfuls towards the end, asking them to pick up a lot of slack at times.

No problem Newton........

With 30 cars and groups of 6 (I think) doing 30 min sessions it will leave plenty of time this year to have a good look around........Last year with 18 cars it was a real struggle to keep the gate going but it looks in much better shape this year.

Sorry guys, but you'll have to change mine to a maybe for now. Checked my wishbones yesterday and found a crack in one of the rears. New parts ordered, but may not arrive in time. Me and Toni will still come along and assist on the gate if I can't get the car fixed, but I won't take the chance driving the Maser if it's not 100%.

Am I right in thinking that the cracked wishbones is not an issue on the GTs? Apologies in advance if this has been dealt with elsewhere!

All - a little while ago we spoke about team shirts for Brunty. We need to get them made very soon if they are to be sent out before the day....

So:

We have a choice of logos - all embroidered at 7.5cm diameter on the left side of the polo shirt - same pure cotton polos we had for Modena last year. The overlapping letters are just a function of the compressed graphic - it's not like that on the originals.

Masertotti.jpg

The Maserati ladies have suggested and approved the Masertotti design, so don't shout at me for being sexist!

Your forum name can also appear on the shirt - looks good on the sleeve and really helps to work out who people are.

I need from you asap -

Polo Shirt Size, Logo (Maserati, SportsMaserati or Masertotti), Forum name yes/no, Colour (White/Navy/Something else if you must)

I shall also need £15 from you, which will get you a shirt posted to you before the event.

If you don't want a shirt, please let me know too. I'll order them all at the end of the week.
