All,
With Brunty not that far away just want to make sure you are all getting your cars in shape for the event.......
Remember that this is an invitation only and you will be taking the public of all ages around track at speed. Helmets are not needed for the day due to it being a private event. SO please ensure you that you are happy that your car is well prepared and safe for the event. One area that I need to mention is the cracked wishbone issue. If you are aware that your car has this issue then can I ask that it is fixed for this event. If it was just yourself in the car I wouldn't be mentioning this but as you could have children of all ages in your vehicles and this issue is major and could have catastrophic consequences we really cannot put anyone at risk including yourselves. Don't want to put a dampers on the event but I think this is really important for everyone's safety on the day.
Thanks again to everyone who have committed to the event again this year it is really appreciated.
Hate to ram home the point C'man, but remember and get them to check your bones with weight on the wheel. Cracks have been missed by so many mots and service checks it is almost unreal.

No worries. Felice fixed it. He knows exactly what needs to be checked.

What did he do to fix it? Has it been welded?
Sorry guys, but you'll have to change mine to a maybe for now. Checked my wishbones yesterday and found a crack in one of the rears. New parts ordered, but may not arrive in time. Me and Toni will still come along and assist on the gate if I can't get the car fixed, but I won't take the chance driving the Maser if it's not 100%.

Am I right in thinking that the cracked wishbones is not an issue on the GTs? Apologies in advance if this has been dealt with elsewhere!
