Sorry to hear this, terrible but the car will be returned or you will get insurance for it.......onward and upward and at least, as someone said already, you were not home, that could have been so much worse.

Sorry to hear the news. Hopefully you get it back quickly and intact.

If it was fitted with the factory tracker but you havent got a subscription then you may be able to get it turned on for a fee.

Awful news. Hope the bastards who broke in a stole it die a horrible painful death.

Everyone, thank you so much for your kind responses and support. Really appreciate it. And from so many of you! So amazing and testament to what a great group of people trident owners are!

No news about the car yet. Still have everything crossed they'll get bored and ditch somewhere rather than load her up on lorry for the continent. Hate looking outside and seeing her empty space!

On the upside, the patient i was operating on all night is no longer at death's door, is nearly off all organ support, and will hopefully be woken up so he can see his family today. So perspective and good cheer for everyone always.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, or as they would say at the home of the Trident - BUON NATALE!!!

All the best for the rest of Christmas day...and I hope the gifts at your home remained in your possession.

Glad you are able to see the best of Christmas out of this, hopefully you managed to get the house locks all changed yesterday, it is the single act I found made me more comfortable in my own home after the violation. I think you should try and detach yourself from the car as quickly as you can so when and if it is found it is not so painful again. I was with Hiscox through A-Plan and they were all so helpful and supportive to me. The one thing I totally underestimated was the value of everything in the car and boot, they paid out £1,000 for all of this but in reality I'm still finding things that are missing!

Try and enjoy the holidays as best you can and park something else in its space so it is not such a reminder.

Can only echo what everyone else has said, terrible news.
Hope you get as good an outcome as is possible and those responsible get what's coming to them too.

The very best of luck going forward to you and your patient.

Sorry to hear the bad news especially just before christmas. If they catch the curlprits maybe you could practice your skills with a lobotomy.

Hopefully it was joyriders who struck lucky with a maserati , I'd find it hard to believe you were targeted because of the maserati as there's not a huge demand for used parts like there would be with something more mainstream.

The one thing to be thankful for is you were out when it happened , a friend of my wife got burgled while she was asleep , when the police attended she said they must have been here a while they filled the kettle to make some tea

No love, the boiling kettle was for you if you came downstairs

Again just to echo the others thoughts on this - utter barstewards. Hope all comes good - still remember the feeling when we were done five years ago and still have the baseball bat under the bed...
