Great pictures, thanks Drew. I used to go fairly often in 80s and 90s there was an upstairs section then.

Silverstone Auctions have charged for entry before...

Maybe I've been lucky before then, or perhaps I looked too scruffy this year.

Cracking photos Drew, and I do think the club did an excellent job this year even if they didn't have 32's or 42's.

I am also working with Ian on the sporting bears stand.
Do come and see us, we have 4 different models to admire. Maybe five if Anna brings my other car on Saturday. ☺️

Need to update your car list on your signature Rob ;-)

Ian was giving laps in his 3200. How was it bud?

Great weekend Phil, plenty of happy people, two of which we're thinking about buying 3200s, pointed them here... Hello if you're viewing! Sporting Bears raised £42k for Children's charities! We had a 4200 Spyder, my 3200, a Gran Turismo and a certain member's Quattraporte that he only purchased the day before! What a lovely car

Interesting comment from the club chairman to me, during a 30 minute or so chat - 'shame we didn't get a BiTurbo on the stand - something like a Ghibli Cup would have been fantastic to help fill in the obvious gap'. If we can find a really good 3200, I can personally promise it will be on the stand next year too. ;)

Maserati Club won the Stand of the Show award, and had the Car of the Show on the stand too (the red 5000GT which many people saw in Modena)

A few photos of the Maserati stand for you...

Now that is an odd thing to say Drew you are right....Chairman of the club not finding a good 3200...You would think of all the cars this would have been the easiest to find...

Glad you liked them! Just snaps using my phone though, so apologies for the relatively poor quality.

Some more non-Maserati bits:

What do we think of this transmission?

I imagine so Dem. The standard boot lock probably isn't going to cut it when the car is racing.

Got to be honest, was quite disappointed this year, nowhere near as good as last year, very much scaled down.......such a shame.

Regarding the two pictures of the Lancia Stratus, one was a Hawk, the other Lister Bell, both replicas!
My mates brother in law was at the show with us, he is awaiting delivery of his Lister Bell Stratus (originally thought he was doing a Hawk, Lister Bell new on the block!)
