As I said "by the likes of" I knew it was a Giugiaro design but didn't know if he was working for Bertone or Italdesign then. Still a good looking car nonetheless.

There was an interesting article in Classic and Sports cars on the GK and also an editorial on how and why the firm collapsed.

I think most sports car companies collapsed in the 60's - just that some of them were lucky enough to be rescued by people rich enough to throw money at them. Most of them still failed...

The Peerless GT was produced in Slough and there is a history between the 2 cars but now we are slitting hairs.

Maserati have a great range in the toy box but if I had the choice it would be the Quattroporte as a daily driver but on a wish list is a 3500GT or Mexico, not that I have plans to part with my GK1

The Haynes car was at the 50th event, ironically as a non runner, I don't think they have a manual for it
