What a car - made my GranTurismo GTS Auto seem very slow.

The last V12 Ferrari I drove was a 550 over a decade ago and unsuprisingly things have really come on. What I learnt was not to trust road tests as these have commented on the light/direct steering. I must say I did not notice this at all and, given I like heavy steering, it seems strange that what road testers are saying did not jump out at me. I guess it tells us only to buy a car on what we feel when we drive it, not what Evo etc say.

The good news for Maserati is that the 7 speed DCT gearbox was brilliant so here's hoping it makes it into the GranTurismo replacement.

This is truly an epic car...sounds like you found it that way to BB.....Lets hope the gearbox finds it way to Maserati as they have been crying out for one like this for years.

It does show you what you can get for monster money.

From our perspective it would be good if the Alfieri gets this gearbox. There is no reason why it does not given the Cayman/911/R8 have DCT.

DCT is the way to go..Even in my friends Gold GTD its effective, smooth and a pleasure to use.
