With a heavy heart, I'm putting up for sale my pride and joy, 2003 4200 Cambio Corsa.
For those that have followed my brief history with this car, will know how much I love and have cherished her.
Looked after by Shiltech Loughborough during my ownership, it has 68600 miles and 7 months left of its advisory free MOT.
Please note when checking it's MOT history, the check engine light on the last MOT was caused by a voltage drop, mechanically this car is spot on.
Good points.
A very well maintained example.
It underwent a subframe out restoration carried out by someone very well known to this forum, covered by the previous owner.
During restoration work, she ended up having a full respray as brake fluid (I believe) ended up dripping onto the paint.
New headliner installed by previous owner.
Lots of sticky buttons sorted, but a few still left (coat hooks, glove compartment switches).
New brakes and upgraded suspension fitted by previous owner.
Performance cats and factory resonator delete, replaced by straight through x pipe. Sounds incredible when on the throttle.
New F1 pump and control relay fitted in the autumn last year.
Last clutch reading, less than 1500 miles ago, 15% worn.
Full service including spark plugs carried out last summer by Shiltech.
I personally have taken all metal trims out and had hydrodipped in carbon fibre effect, tastefully (in my eyes) restoring them.
I have installed a pioneer double din media unit, featuring apple car play, android auto and a reverse parking camera.
I have personally retrofitted cruise control.
I have installed custom Maserati pedals and custom aluminium gear shifters.
I've installed the Hill engineering upgraded gear selector, ensuring no future failures.
I've also just polished the headlights to near new condition.
I've also restored the steering wheel to as new.
This car is a very well kept and cared for example. I've got lots of invoices as proof of work and maintainance carried out.
NOT SO GOOD BITS
Central tunnel plastic trim (where mirror controls are) is damaged. I have a replacement part already, it just needs sending to Wicked Coatings to be hydrodipped (approx £100-£150 max possibly less) and a 21mm hole drilled into it to seat the hazard warning switch. It's totally functional as is and you probably wouldn't spot the damage, but I'm being honest.
Rubber seal to nearside headlight needs replacing.
Slight scuff to lower front bumper near side, photo below ** NOW FULLY REPAIRED**
The odd stone chip.
One alloy as had touch up paint in one place.
Central locking **NOW FULLY REPAIRED**
Drivers heated seat switch not functioning correctly **NOW FULLY REPAIRED.**
That's about it, I'm being honest as I can.
Feel free to contact with questions and I can put up more photos anytime. I appreciate there aren't any side on photos, I will rectify.
Car will be sold with custom breathable outside car cover (£500 original cost) included.
£10,000 no offers. I paid only slightly under this and have invested heavily myself. I think it is a more than fair price.
Thanks for looking.
