Great work on the classifieds and the system upgrade Matt (and Trev). Well done.
Matt, I wouldn't mind loading my QP onto the classifieds section. Let me know as soon as you are allowing forum members to list their own cars. I will, of course, give you feedback on the classifieds interface (i.e. the experience of loading a listing on to it).
Will do Dan. We are not sure how we are going to work this as yet. For sure we want members to be able to list their own cars but we don't want it getting abused by traders.

OK mate - no worries. I'll await the decision on this.
What I would say (and this comes purely from an interest in promoting the forum and the classifieds section as opposed to my own interests!) is that if the classifieds section is to get off the ground, you are going to need a sizeable number of vehicles advertised on it for it to be taken seriously and for internet users (especially those outside the forum) to search the listings. Potentially the classifieds section could prove to be a very lucrative asset but I would imagine we will have to follow previous models and go through the pain of allowing lots of genuine ads for free (and vetting them between us) until such time as the section is well recognised and we are receiving ample amounts of traffic.
I also appreciate the need to make the sponsors feel special over others getting a 'freebie' listing. Perhaps a premium style listing that stands out for them and a cheaper looking one with between 0-5 pictures for everyone else?
I think Dhanj raises an interesting methodology. Effectively crowdsourcing </obligatory buzzword> the policing of the classified. It does really need to have plenty of traffic if it's going to become other than a 'private' market place where we simply sell to each other. Perhaps a mechanism so that registered members can flag in-appropriate adverts to the moderators. Perhaps, also, a classified moderator role?
