The second Breakfast club of 2010 sees a classic theme return.

Sporting Family Favourites - Four seater fun!

My M3 will be in attendance as will whatever tour support car we have then....(possibly both!) It's normally a really good mix of fun cars..... M5's, Lotus Carltons, Mondials, 612's and Espadas 911's and hopefully a few Masers too?

who said 4 seats was boring?

It was a well attended theme last year and there's no doubt it will be the same this time.

We'll be meeting at Guildford Cathedral (GU2 7UP) at 7am and leaving at 7.15am (15 mins earlier than usual) as last month things were already busy when we arrived so we want to make sure we get there in good time to get some decent parking spots.

We have a special route mapped out which is easy to follow but takes in some great roads.

Anyone is welcome to join us as long as they're comfortable driving in a convoy with the usual proviso that we all drive with respect to both the rest of the group and other road users.

Last month around 100 cars turned up to meet us and if the weather is good we expect the same again. I've already met some of the people on this forum so it would be great to meet a few more of you and get some miles under our belts

As said above this is not a race or time trial just a leisurely convoy to the event, we wont tolerate antisocial driving - any drivers displaying evidence of this will be asked to leave the group. No one has to follow the same route as us and all are welcome to travel at their own pace.

I may will be up for that the Ghilbi swung it, is it an early 1970's or 1990's model? I live in Chichester, about 2 miles from Goodwood, so I may not drive all the way up to Guildford to drive all the way back, saying that, that is the sort of hair brain thing I do. Maybe Ill pick up the convoy en route. I take it you will be coming the scenic route down the 282 via Midhurst? Ill probably met you in Midhurst then?

Matt, if you want to take a long detour to Guildford just for the drive, I am up for it if you want to do a 2 car convoy?

It's the 90's model really nice chap too.

the route is a lot of fun and the convoy tends to turn heads too.

come on down if you're up in time. It's not like you've a long drive home afterwards :)

we tend to change the route around a bit, i'm thinking this time we may we do the A286 then turn off and head along the A272 just for a bit of fun then down the A285

Shame Emblem are not open Sundays as I would have collected my car then and made a day out of it.

Will collect it later today...have not seen it since the Open Day, now all serviced and fixed up but £2,300 lighter, gulp! Sophie's not impressed!

Ouch Pete, least she should all be sorted for the summer, might be best to let Sophie drive home , so realizes its worth it , best to keep her onside

A great day, woke up in the middle of the night, well, 5am, pitch black. Showered, breakfast and attempted to leather the car off in the dark....dont bother!

It was very wet this morning. Picked my mate up....who had gone back to sleep, 30 mins of kicking his door in, finally got the bugger up.

Great run up to Guildford. When I arrived, pulled up behind another GS, how weird. Got talking, he will be over on here later today....so look out for BADLAG.

Some young guy in a suped up Ford got a little over excited and spun his car on the entrance to Guildford cathedral, hit the curb, took his sump off!

Did not meet Harsh again, second time now, but saw his car, pictured below.

Convoyed down, the route went out the window, so me with my local knowledge ended up in front and we got there in the end.

Bitterly cold morning, but a great day out. Got back to see the final 20 laps of the GP...great start to the day, thanks to Harsh for organising it.

Peter, it probably got the most attention from any of the car, it was barn fresh, which was the best bit.

I bet something like this is going to be worth alot more than it looks, Peter, your obviously in the know, whats it worth?
