Interesting that Dan's GTS has not made it onto Meridien's website yet.

To be honest, I wouldn't want to see it if/when it is posted on there. It'd be like someone posting pics of an ex-girlfriend... that they had taken.
Not only that, I'll also see how much they'll flog it for.

Just got back from Spa by the way. Awesome trip! Now feel much more at one with the car, even though the Honda powered Lotus's pee'd over it from a great hieght! Full report, pics and vid to follow...

I would not want to see any car of mine up for sale somewhere either Dan, it would be like selling your wife. I am surprised that a Lotus could wipe the floor with your Lambo mate, I thought you would eat them up.

A well driven Lotus is a very fast thing indeed, particularly a 725kg S1 with 220bhp from a Honda Type R engine swap. That gives them 303bhp per tonne, where as my car is 361bhp per tonne, so the gap isn't that massive.

They were maxing out at around 130mph on the long straight where as I was hitting 160mph. They easily made it up underbraking and then all over me in the corners. Great fun though :D

Sounds a fantastic trip mate, glad you enjoyed it. I suppose the size of the little lotus is the key there then, really good in the bends which is where you would be forced to lose a bit of time, if it were all straights that would be a perfect world for you. Have you had it near maximum yet, or are you still feeling your way?

That would probably have been better Benny, but the length of the Lambo -v- Lotus put's a disadvantage there in the corners. Don't worry Dan, you will get the hang of it soon?
